With the recent hot weather, we have turned to cool summer activities for our residents to enjoy here at Woodstock Residential Care Home.
Our residents have been relaxing with some sand and water therapy – making sea creature shapes in magic sand and enjoying the feel of it, and also bathing dolls in cool water, to make them all nice and clean.
These calm and tactile activities are very engaging and it’s lovely to see our ladies enjoying them.
Woodstock Paddle Party!
We couldn’t resist cooling down in the heat with our paddling pool too – so we decided to have our very own paddle party.
Our residents had fun putting their feet under the water in our paddling pool and passing the rubber ducks with their feet to each other!
All the ladies who took part were laughing, splashing one another and having a good natter. What a wonderful way to spend a summer afternoon!
