We had a good giggle on Shrove Tuesday tossing pancakes here at Woodstock Residential Care Home.
We had a little competition to see how many times people could toss the pancake without dropping it and how high we could toss it. Jonathan flips his an impressive five times and Lena got hers the highest.
Later in the day we all enjoyed pancakes for our dessert (…not the ones we dropped on the floor!!).
To finish off Shrove Tuesday we held a cinema afternoon. We had our very own usher bringing around ice-creams, popcorn and lemonade for everyone, which went down a treat! We all enjoyed taking it easy after all the pancakes we ate and watching The Sound of Music, which is a real favourite.
