On Tuesday 8 August our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home were very happy to celebrate International Cat Day.
We enjoyed stimulating our minds with word searches about cats in the morning and colouring in different templates of cats during our arts and crafts session in the afternoon.
This was a perfect way to chat about our own cats and the pets we have; we all enjoyed sharing stories and it was lovely to hear about all our furry friends.
During the day our residents also watched a documentary about ‘Top Cats’ too and were very interested to learn about the whole of the big cat family, looking at the similarities and differences between our own domestic cats and large cats in the wild.
