On Tuesday 9 March at Woodstock Residential Care Home we hosted an India verses England cricket game – this was so we could win back our Captain who was kidnapped by Pirates on Monday!
We had so much fun with our residents playing for England on Unit Manager Leah’s team and our staff playing for India on Recreation and Well-Being Lead Marina’s team.
Wendy and Jenny scored the most runs (ten each!) and the England team won the trophy cup and got back their Captain, so they are all set to sail to India.
There was lots of cheering and everyone got quite competitive! Good times!
