Our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home got creative making a wall display of their dreams and wishes this week, when individuals were asked to decorate a hot air balloon in nice bright and summery colours.
We all enjoyed talking about whether we were lucky enough to have been on a hot air balloon ride and what sights could be seen. One of our residents commented that she was surprised for her birthday once with a hot air balloon ride over Leeds Castle and said it was beautiful.
We then sat with our residents and asked them what their dreams and wishes were. Our ladies and gents were creative with their wishes and asked for things such as ‘a limitless supply of Cornettos’ or ‘to drive a Jaguar’. We then stuck their wishes and dreams onto the hot air balloons to send them off into the sky!
We now have a beautiful and bright display for everyone to see in the lounge. May our dreams come true!
