On Friday 15 December Woodstock Residential Care Home turned into the North Pole and was taken over by elves!
Our team members all got involved with Elf Day and dressed up, as well as our residents getting the opportunity to have their photo taken with Elvis the elf!
Our ladies and gents then got to take part in the ‘Elf Olympics‘ where they tested their skills to see if they were good enough to be one of Santa’s helpers.
We first started with an exercise class led by Elvis to limber up and get ready for the challenges ahead. We then moved on to a snowball target game, testing everyone’s throwing skills and seeing if they could land their snowballs in a tinsel hoop.
Lastly, we played ‘catch the present’ in preparation for Father Christmas throwing the presents onto his sleigh to be put in the sack.
Luckily, all our residents passed the tests and have been signed up to help Father Christmas!
