Our ladies at Woodstock Residential Care Home were recently treated to ‘Glam-mar Day’.
We wanted to give our ladies a glamorous makeover and have their pictures taken in front of our beautiful Christmas tree. We applied small amounts of makeup to our ladies including blushers, eyeshadow and lipstick to enhance their natural beauty.
We were able to chat with the ladies to give them the real salon experience and spoke about the type of makeup they used to wear and were laughing about some of the adventurous colours that came into fashion throughout the decades like blue eyeshadow.
We then accessorised them with a feather boa and took their picture. We then walked them through the Home to show off their new glamorous looks to the other residents and team members. Our ladies had the biggest smiles on their faces and said it was nice to feel young again.
