We hosted a very special birthday celebration on Sunday 5 November when our lovely resident Hilary turned 70 with us at Woodstock Residential Care Home.
We put up banners, balloons and had a big 70 balloon for Hilary’s special day. Our residents all gathered together for a cream tea to celebrate with her and enjoyed listening to songs from the 50s.
Our Cook Lynn also made Hilary a special personalised cake and we all sang ‘Happy birthday’ to her as she blew out the candles and made a wish.
She received many visits throughout the day and thoroughly enjoyed celebrating with her loved ones.
