The sunshine and hot weather has been glorious these last few weeks and residents here at Woodstock Residential Care Home have been enjoying the hydration trolley refreshments more than ever! Creating different hydration trolley themes is a good way to stay hydrated and have fun at the same time.
We like to take the trolley around and let our residents pick their favourite treats and refreshments. Our tempting trolley treats have included all different flavour ice creams, ice lollies, yoghurts and drinks. We also had chocolate sauce and sprinkles for the ice creams.
Our ladies and gents have also been enjoying different mocktails including the ‘Woodstock WooWoo’, ‘Mango Sunrise’ and ‘Orange Daiquiri’. Some of our residents said they felt like were on holiday in the sunshine with a cocktail in their hand!
