On Monday 11 July we made fans from paper and decorated them to keep ourselves cool at Woodstock Residential Care Home, as the temperatures have been climbing!
We decorated A4 sheets of coloured paper with pretty patterns, flowers and drawings to personalise our fans.
Next we folded them carefully, turning the paper after each fold and voila – we made our own fabulous fans!
This activity was a good way to have a chat and a giggle with friends and a relaxing therapeutic activity that helped us improved our fine motor skills and concentration.
We all enjoyed an ice-cream with sprinkles afterwards to cool down in this very warm weather.
