To mark this year’s Remembrance Day, our residents at Woodstock Residential Care Home enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea in honour of the armed forces and those we’ve lost in the war.
We sang along to wartime songs and enjoyed a delicious traditional afternoon buffet of cream scones, cheese straws, cakes, sausage rolls and jam tarts.
Everyone sat around the table and chatted about their memories of the war, which was a lovely way to come together for Remembrance Day.
