Our Woodstock Residential Care Home residents helped make a beautiful display of poppies and flags in our Home last week to commemorate Remembrance Day.
We all worked hard making lot and lots of poppies and Barbara told us that she remembered why we all wear poppies – to show our respect for all those who lost their lives in the war and remember our loved ones at this special time.
We have made our display in our dining room for everyone to enjoy and we are all very proud of it.
Our residents also enjoyed having their photos taken, with our special poppy and Union Jack frame, dressed up for Remembrance Day. Everyone took part and we had lots of fun taking pictures.
