On Tuesday 31 October, a few of our residents from Woodstock Residential Care Home stood outside the Home with cauldrons and pumpkin buckets full of sweets, ready to treat the children as they finished school.
Our residents wanted to get in the Halloween spirit and trick or treat with the children. We had lollies, popping candy and chewy sweets. The children were even taking pictures with our team members who were dressed up. We all had lots of fun seeing the children’s faces light up at the sweets and the fancy dress costumes.
“Our residents all said how much they enjoyed seeing the children and look forward to when they come and sing Christmas carols to us. We look forward to going out and treating the children at Christmas time.”
