Over the weekend we had a special performance by Sittingbourne Rock Choir here at Woodstock Residential Care Home.
The performers meet up once a week to practice and perform some of their favourite songs, and we were delighted to welcome them to perform for us.
Our ladies and gents sat around our the windows eagerly waiting for the songs to start. The choir was led by Paul, who is one of our resident’s grandsons. We joined them in singing a variety of songs such as Queen and Guns ‘n Roses. The choir also kept us entertained with some dance moves that some of our residents joined in with.
Everyone at Woodstock would like to say thank you to the members of the choir who gave up their time at the weekend to come and sing for us. We look forward to having them return in the summer where we can dance and sing along with them again.
