A group of our ladies and gents from Woodstock Residential Care Home took a trip to Tunstall Church last week to enjoy their beautiful Christmas Tree Festival.
Our residents have worked very hard over the last few weeks creating different decorations to display on a tree at the festival. We had a lovely lady called Wendy who visited Woodstock to help us create our decorations and set up the tree.
We walked around the church looking at all the different trees and were very impressed with some of the creative ideas that people had come up with, including one made from squash racquets created by Rodmersham Squash Club!
There were over 80 trees on display from a variety of organisations in the local community. We were very happy to see our tree displayed amongst the others and it looked wonderful.
Everyone also enjoyed looking at the colourful stained glass windows around the church and having a nice hot cup of tea. We were happy to make a donation to the church who were raising money for My Shining Star charity.
We love our annual visit to Tunstall Church festive display and are already look forward to returning next year!
