Our Woodstock Residential Care Home residents received a lovely visit from our local Beavers club last week.
The children arrived in their uniforms and had lots of festive accessories on too, with tinsel belts, glittery shoes and Christmas boppers.
They sat with our residents and coloured in some Christmas coasters, all the while enjoying a chat with our ladies and gents, asking them a variety of questions – ‘What’s your favourite colour?‘, ‘Do you have an advent calendar?‘ and ‘What have you asked Father Christmas for?’. Our residents were very amused with some of these questions!
The Beavers then treated us to a festive performance, singing us some Christmas songs and showing us their best dance moves. We were also lucky enough to watch them present two of their Beavers with a special Beaver teddy as a reward for being so well behaved whilst at Woodstock.
Our ladies and gents loved the Beavers visiting us and have invited them back in the new year.
