On Wednesday 10 August our residents here at Woodstock Residential Care Home got creative together at Kitchen Club – decorating biscuits.
We had a selection of yummy biscuits to decorate, including digestives, shortbreads, gingernuts and many more.
We made our own icing sugar and coated our biscuits delicately. We then decorated our biscuits with sprinkles, chocolate chips, marshmallows and personalised them with icing pens.
We all enjoyed chatting about cooking and baking and what our favourite foods are to make and eat. Daphne enjoyed adding lots of chocolate chips to her biscuits as she said she loves chocolate!
We then enjoyed a lovely cup of tea and tucked into our masterpieces, sharing them out with friends around our Home. We are looking forward to the next Kitchen Club for more tasty treats.
