Our Woodstock Residential Care Home residents got involved with a sensory, cognitive challenge on Wednesday 29 June.
We gave them the task of pairing up nuts and bolts to see how many they could do in a timed session. We also got them to sort the nuts and bolts by size from smallest to largest.
This task involved good hand–eye coordination and encouraged everybody to use reasoning.
Those taking part had fun screwing and unscrewing the nuts and bolts and enjoyed competing and cheering each other on. Great fun!
